Are you craving some grilled food but you don't want to go through all the work of getting the grill ready?

The EZ Grill may be your solution.

It's a disposable grill that’s supposed to make grilling easy.

The package says the grill offers no mess, lights with one match and it will cook for up to an hour and a half.

But will it work? Let me try it before you buy it.

The instructions say remove the packaging, put the metal stand on a heat resistant surface then shake up the charcoal. Light one corner of the starter sheet with a match, and you're ready to go.

It says wait until the flames die down and the charcoal looks ashy before putting the food on the grill.

We did all of this and waited about 15 minutes for the charcoals to look ashy. We put hot dogs and some turkey burgers on the grill.

The grill stand was a little bent so when I placed the grill on top of it the grill was a little lopsided, so I had a little difficulty flipping the burgers and hot dogs on the grill.

The hog dogs and burgers cooked just fine. But then we cooked some more hot dogs and burgers because we wanted to see if the EZ Grill would work for more then an hour.

The EZ Grill cost us $4.99 for the small version we tested. They also have a larger one for $9.99.

The EZ Grill did live up to its claim.

We tested the grill for over an hour and it stayed hot and cooked our food efficiently.

After we were done with the grill we waited for it to cool down and then disposed of it.

So I had to give it a thumbs up.

If you are planning on camping and want to keep it simple this grill may be something to grab.

You can pick them up at Walmart and Safeway.
