Future Master Grillers out there (KIDS ONLY). Limited number of entries!

This is going to be an amazing event for some lucky kids (ages 6 to 12).  You only have until MARCH 3rd to enter!! 

What is Kids Que?  At the largest BBQ Festival in Arkansas, and for the first time, there will be a Kid's EZ Grill competition on March 20th!  The fire department will be there and the North Little Rock Fire Chief will have a grill lighting ceremony :).  They have local celebrities in TV and radio (as well as politicians) as judges.  Kids entering the competition get free wristbands for unlimited rides at the carnival and can have free fingerprinting with Morgan Nick Alert center manned by the local Police.  

News cameras will be there to record this fun event so get your entry in quickly as there is limited space.

Where are the great BBQ champions of the future? I'm sure they're tagging along right next to you - they're your kids, of course. So, to get them started on their BBQ journey, the USA Barbecue Championship offers the EZ Grill KIDS’ QUE JR CHAMPIONSHIP.
Your children will have the opportunity to barbecue chicken thighs. We supply the EZ Grill, they simply need to bring their own marinades, seasonings and thighs plus anything else they would like to use to enhance their presentation.
Please join us for the EZ Grill KIDS’ QUE JR. CHAMPIONSHIP March 20, 2010 and Let the Flames Begin on the future of barbecue.

In consideration of your “submission or acceptance” of this entry, I, the undersigned, Intending to be legally bound, hereby from myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages against the Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off Committee, State of Arkansas, City of North Little Rock, North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Riverside RV Park, EZ Grill, their agents, successors and assignees for any and all injuries suffered by me in this event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off Committee and/or any and all agents authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recording and any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: MARCH 3, 2010.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION BY E-MAIL Confirmation of team application will be forwarded to you by email to the address given in form. Please make sure address is correct and valid.

Each participating team will receive 1 (one) 10x10 cook space, numbered judging container and EZ Grill to cook on.

Check in and set up will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday March 20, 2010. All teams should be checked in and at their site by 9:00 am for a brief mandatory “Cooks Meeting” and safety session with the North Little Rock Fire Department. Grills will be lit promptly at 10:00 am.
