Backpacking with an EZ Grill

Backpacker's delight!  This issue won't be out until April.  It's easy to throw a grill in your backpack when hiking through the wilderness.  EZ to use and all natural.  Great idea to freeze the hot dogs before hiking and then cook them up on the portable EZ Grill.

The EZ Grill delivers a no-fuss method for flame-cooked backcountry feasts.  The notebook-size, relatively lightweight disposable grill kit comes with oil-dipped charcoal and a stand to keep it off the ground.  It lights easily and cooks hot for about an hour - long enough to let our tester roast chicken sausages in Colorado's Indian Peaks Wilderness.  "I packed in frozen meat, and surprised my friends with a backcountry cookout," he says.  Plus, it's cheap, and you can recycle the materials.  www.ezgrill.com
